This morning, an image was shared of Hollywood actor Johnny Depp alongside journalist Antonio Laje, who, in his free time, works as a private jet pilot and was responsible for transporting the actor on a flight from Uruguay. Depp’s arrival in the country caused a great stir, and immediately rumors began to emerge about the reason for his visit to Argentina.
According to exclusive information from NOTICIAS, Johnny Depp will stay in Buenos Aires for a week to record several musical tracks at the recording studio of Jorge “Corcho” Rodríguez, known as La Roca Power Studio, located at his home in San Isidro. This visit is related to Depp’s previous stay in Punta del Este, where he was also invited by Rodríguez and his wife Verónica Lozano to the Yellow Rose ranch, where he watched polo matches.
The friendship between “Corcho” Rodríguez and Depp is said to have originated thanks to a mutual photographer, Ross Halfin, famous for his photos of rock stars. They met last year at the Rome and San Sebastián festivals during the premiere of the film Modi, directed by Depp.
In addition to their friendship, Depp and Rodríguez have a commercial connection, as Corcho is involved in the distribution of Depp’s film in all of Latin America.
